Our Mission
Katy Animal Control is dedicated to serving the community by providing compassionate care for animals in need and facilitating successful connections with local families. We strive to create a positive environment where every pet in our care receives the attention and support they deserve while waiting for their forever home.
Serving the Katy Community
As a city department based in Katy, Texas, we operate to ensure the health and safety of both our citizens and our animal population. We play a vital role in managing animal welfare within our jurisdiction, handling intake needs for strays and providing a temporary sanctuary for pets in transition.
Our Care Philosophy
Our shelter facility serves as a safe haven for animals of all kinds, from energetic puppies and kittens to loyal adult dogs. Our team monitors the needs of every resident, ensuring that animals who come to us through community discovery or as strays are properly managed and prepared for their next chapter. We pride ourselves on maintaining an accessible and organized process to help you find the perfect companion.
