Kaufman County Pet Adoption Center
Our Mission
The Kaufman County Pet Adoption Center is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming haven for homeless and stray animals, connecting them with loving families while promoting responsible pet ownership. We strive to create a compassionate community by offering education, fostering partnerships, and ensuring every pet has a chance at a happy, healthy life.
Our Story
Since our groundbreaking on March 23, 2021, and our grand opening on April 5, 2022, we have been committed to helping pets find their perfect match. Managed by Kaufman County as of October 2024, our center serves as a vital resource for animals and their future families in our community.
A Modern Haven for Pets
Our facility is a 12,560-square-foot pet paradise designed with animal welfare in mind. We feature indoor and outdoor kennels, a cutting-edge HVAC system for clean air, and natural daylighting to reduce stress, ensuring a comfortable environment while our residents await their forever homes.
Your New Best Friend Awaits
Whether you are dreaming of a playful pup or looking for a companion to complete your family, we are here to help. We utilize special Get-to-Know rooms and a beautiful courtyard to ensure every adoption is a match made in heaven. Our team believes that every pet deserves a chance at happiness, and we are honored to facilitate those life-changing connections.
