At Freeman-Fritts Vet Clinic & Animal Shelter, our mission is simple: to save animal lives through compassionate care, affordable veterinary services, and the promise of a loving forever home for every pet we meet.
Since 1986, we have been dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats across Kerr County. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization owned by the Animal Welfare Society of Kerr County, we serve our community with a steadfast no-kill philosophy.
We operate as a hub of healing, providing essential medical services in a safe, welcoming environment. By offering low-cost veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, and comfortable boarding, we support responsible pet ownership while funding our life-saving rescue and adoption efforts.
We believe a loving home changes everything, which is why our staff works closely to understand each animal's unique personality. Because we deeply value these connections, we facilitate a thoughtful matching process to ensure every adoption results in a happy, lifelong partnership.
Whether you are ready to open your heart to a new companion or want to help a special-needs animal through sponsorship, there are many ways to get involved.
