Kerr County Animal Control
Our Mission
Kerr County Animal Control & Shelter is dedicated to the safety and well-being of our community's animals through professional care, public education, and a heartfelt commitment to finding them forever homes.
Serving the Heart of the Hill Country
Established in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, our organization serves as the vital link between animal welfare and public safety in Kerr County. We believe in creating a responsible community where both pets and people can thrive safely together.
How We Provide Care
Our dedicated team—ranging from administrative staff to experienced kennel personnel—works daily to provide a clean and secure environment for the animals in our care. We manage a robust adoption and rescue program, ensuring that every animal has the best possible opportunity to transition into a loving home environment.
The Adopter Connection
Adoption is a beautiful, life-changing experience that we are honored to facilitate for our residents. By choosing to adopt, you become a hero for an animal in need, helping us fulfill our core mission of ensuring these pets find the families they deserve. Our team is here to guide you through the process, ensuring a smooth and joyful partnership from the moment you meet your new companion.
