Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions
Our Mission
Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions is a dedicated non-profit, no-kill rescue center committed to providing a safe haven for abandoned and stray animals in Lago Vista, Texas. We strive to rescue, care for, and find loving forever homes for dogs and cats in need while promoting responsible pet ownership.
Our History
Since 1996, we have proudly served our community by providing a sanctuary for over 2,000 animals. Over the past thirty years, our volunteer-driven organization has grown through the continued compassion of our supporters and the success of vital partnerships and local fundraisers.
Our Approach
Operating as a no-kill facility, we focus on providing comprehensive care, including medical exams, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and microchipping for our residents. Our volunteers work tirelessly at our shelter and in foster care to provide socialization, medical treatment for special needs, and daily affection to every animal in our care.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe every animal has a unique personality, and our adoption process is designed to foster a successful lifetime commitment. By asking thoughtful questions and understanding your lifestyle, our trained counselors help match you with a companion who truly fits your home, whether you are looking for an active jogging partner or a relaxed couch potato.
