Located in Magnolia, TX, we strive to make our community a safe haven for abandoned animals through our comprehensive rescue and adoption programs. Our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that every animal deserves a second chance at life. We conduct educational outreach on the importance of spaying and neutering while promoting responsible animal ownership to curb the overpopulation crisis. Since our inception in 2002, we have been entirely volunteer-run, with a team of passionate individuals committed to providing shelter and care for abandoned pets. Our volunteers, ranging from pre-teens to seniors, dedicate their time to nurturing the animals, facilitating adoptions, and organizing numerous fundraising events within the community. At AAR, we maintain a strict no-kill policy, treating every animal as part of our family. We believe in rehabilitation and providing medical care whenever needed, rather than resorting to euthanasia to make space. Each story of recovery, like that of Chopper who found his forever home after nearly five years in our care, exemplifies our commitment to second chances. With a supportive community behind us, AAR has expanded over the years from our humble beginnings to a spacious facility designed for the comfort and well-being of our animals. Our new property, complete with interactive areas and rehabilitation spaces, allows us to cater to both healthy and special needs animals alike.
