Mansfield Animal Care and Control is dedicated to promoting safe, healthy neighborhoods for both people and their pets. We strive to provide compassionate care for the animals that come through our doors while facilitating their journey to loving forever homes.

As a city facility, we serve the Mansfield community by providing a safe harbor for stray animals and those surrendered by their owners. Our work is rooted in a deep belief that responsible pet ownership—including microchipping, vaccinations, and spaying or neutering—is the key to a thriving, animal-friendly city.
Providing Care and Comfort
Our shelter at 612 S. Wisteria St. is designed to provide a secure environment where impounded and surrendered animals receive the care they need while awaiting adoption. Beyond our shelter walls, we actively support our animals through various programs, including fostering opportunities and our popular Doggy Day Out initiatives, which help our pets thrive during their stay with us.
