Collin County Animal Services is dedicated to providing professional care and compassion for the lost and stray animals within our community. We strive to be a supportive resource for residents while ensuring the welfare and safety of the animals entrusted to our care.
Serving Our Community
Established in 2006, our department was created to meet the growing needs of our region. Today, we perform animal control duties and provide essential sheltering services for stray pets across unincorporated Collin County, as well as the cities of Frisco and McKinney, and numerous surrounding municipalities.
How We Care
Our facility in McKinney serves as a safe harbor for lost and stray domestic animals, including dogs, cats, and ferrets. We are committed to transparency and operational excellence, ensuring that every animal in our care receives professional attention while awaiting their next chapter. We also work closely with partners like the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection to host low-cost wellness clinics, supporting the long-term health of pets in our region.
