Welcome to Fix West Texas, a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for both pets and people throughout West Texas. Our mission centers on providing affordable and accessible preventative care, as well as facilitating adoption services, all while nurturing meaningful community partnerships.
At Fix West Texas, we believe in the power of compassion, kindness, and patience to drive social change, especially regarding reducing the alarming euthanasia rates in local shelters. Our high-quality, low-cost services include spaying, neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations, helping to combat stray populations and promote healthier, happier pets in our community.
Our dynamic programs such as the Pets in Need initiative offer financial assistance with a pay-what-you-can model, ensuring that every pet can receive the care they deserve regardless of their owner's financial situation. We also engage in community outreach through our various foster and adoption programs, community cats initiatives, and innovative responses to pressing local challenges like our At-Home Parvo Treatment Program.
We are proactive in addressing the changing needs of our community and adapting our services accordingly, as demonstrated by our recent collaboration with local authorities to save numerous dogs from distressing situations like distemper outbreaks. Together, we are building a deeper sense of unity and support within West Texas.
