Fix West Texas
Our Mission
Fix West Texas is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to increasing the quality of life for the pets and people of West Texas. We achieve this by providing affordable preventative care, reliable adoption services, and building meaningful community partnerships.
Our Why
We believe that every pet brings immeasurable value to our lives, and we are here to ensure they stay happy and healthy with the families that love them. Beyond reducing the number of strays in our region, we continuously work to identify and meet our community’s evolving needs, helping us foster a deeper sense of connection across West Texas.
How We Work
As a foster-based organization, we do not have a traditional permanent facility for housing animals. We believe it is much healthier for our pets to experience the comfort and socialization of a loving home while they wait for their forever families. We are proud to operate a community clinic and maintain a dedicated adoption center at PetSmart Midland to facilitate these life-changing connections.
Your Partner in Adoption
We view every adoption as a celebration of the bond between pets and their owners, regardless of their background. Our team is here to support you during the transition, offering guidance and resources to ensure your new companion settles in perfectly. We focus on transparency and encouragement, helping you start this exciting new chapter with confidence.
Join Our Community
We invite you to discover your new best friend by browsing our adoptable dogs and cats online or visiting us at our adoption center. Whether you are ready to adopt, foster, or simply learn more, we are here to assist you every step of the way. Together, we can continue to save lives and build a brighter future for the animals of West Texas.
