Welcome to Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals, where we are dedicated to "Saving and Changing Lives." Our mission is to provide loving care for homeless and abused dogs and cats until they find their forever homes with responsible and loving owners. As a Forever-home and a Legitimate No-Kill facility, we ensure that all animals in our care will remain at our shelter until they are placed in permanent homes. We take pride in the fact that we are not affiliated with local Animal Control Services and do not transfer animals that may be difficult to adopt. The needs of our four-legged friends come first, and we are committed to their well-being. Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals operates as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, relying entirely on the generosity of our community through donations and gifts. Your contributions not only help us sustain our operations, but they also ensure that each cat and dog receives the care, love, and attention they so dearly deserve. We prioritize educating our community on responsible animal care and the importance of spaying and neutering to manage the pet population. Our adoption process is thorough; every animal is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, and treated for fleas, ticks, and worms monthly before they go to their new homes. We invite you to visit our sanctuary to meet our adoptable pets. Our doors are open every day from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and we are here to assist you in finding the perfect companion.
