The City of Mont Belvieu Animal Shelter is dedicated to creating a safe and thriving community by providing compassionate care for animals in need and connecting them with their forever families. We are committed to fostering a positive environment where every pet can receive the love and attention they deserve while awaiting their new home.
As a vital department of the City of Mont Belvieu, our mission is to ensure the welfare of animals and the safety of our residents. We work hard to manage animal-related needs and provide a reliable resource for citizens, serving as a hub for both pet support and responsible animal advocacy.
Our shelter operates a dedicated facility at 3831 Perry Ave, where our team works daily to ensure that every animal receives proper nutrition, exercise, and socialization. We also utilize a robust foster program, where dependable volunteers open their hearts and homes to provide temporary care, helping our animals thrive in comfortable environments before they are ready for adoption. Whether in a kennel or a foster home, our goal is to give every pet their best chance at a successful transition into a loving home.
Adoption is a meaningful, lifelong commitment, and we are here to support you in finding the perfect match. Whether you are looking for a loyal companion or a new family member, our staff is dedicated to ensuring a thoughtful process that sets both you and your pet up for success. We invite you to explore our available pets and discover the joy that comes with welcoming a rescue animal into your life.
