Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League - TX
Our Mission
The Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League (C.C.P.A.L.) is dedicated to providing safe, loving, and permanent homes for strays and animals in need throughout Bandera County, Texas. We believe every pet deserves a second chance at a happy life.
Our Story
Since our founding in February 2002, we have grown from a small group focused on helping overlooked animals into a robust no-kill organization. Over the last two decades, our community-driven efforts have allowed us to rescue nearly 5,000 animals, fueled by the unwavering support of our neighbors and volunteers.
How We Help
We operate a no-kill facility that serves as a sanctuary while our residents await their forever families. Beyond housing over 100 dogs and puppies at a time, we actively work to reduce pet overpopulation by promoting low-cost spay/neuter programs and offering dog obedience classes. Our dedicated foster network and training initiatives are essential in socializing our residents and preparing them for life in a new home.
Find Your New Best Friend
Adopting is a joyful journey, and our goal is to help you find the perfect match for your lifestyle. Whether you are looking for a playful puppy or a calm companion, we provide the care, medical guidance, and training advice necessary to ensure a smooth transition. When you adopt, you are not just bringing home a pet; you are saving a life and becoming part of the C.C.P.A.L. family.
