How We Provide Care
The Red Oak Animal Shelter serves as a vital resource where animals receive necessary medical attention and a comfortable environment as they wait for their new families. Our adoption process is designed to be transparent and straightforward, ensuring each animal is ready for their new life. Every adoption fee of $40.00 includes essential care such as vaccines, worming treatment, heartworm testing for dogs where appropriate, and a preregistered microchip for peace of mind.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
We believe that every pet deserves a loving environment, and our goal is to help you find the companion that best matches your home. If you do not see the perfect pet immediately, we invite you to join the City's Wish List so we can notify you when a compatible friend arrives at our facility. Our staff is always here to assist you in this exciting transition toward a wonderful partnership.
