Our mission is to work with the community to strengthen the bond between animals and people, helping unwanted, abandoned, or surrendered pets find the loving permanent homes they deserve. We believe in changing worlds and saving friends, one adoption at a time.
Why We Are Here
Established as the main animal shelter in Rockwall, our center serves the Rockwall and Heath community by providing a vital safety net for animals in need. We focus on rescuing vulnerable pets from difficult situations, including neglect and abusive environments, to ensure they receive a second chance at life.
How We Provide Care
Every animal in our care receives dedicated attention, including specialized diets, medical treatment, and necessary training to prepare them for their future families. Our passionate team, including on-site veterinary staff and experienced kennel technicians, works tirelessly to maintain a compassionate, professional environment while our animals wait for their forever families.

10/8 - 🐾 MEET DAISY! 🐾 Daisy is an approximately 1-year-old Plott Hound/Dutch Shepherd mix weighing under 45 pounds who is ready to find her FURever home! ❤️ She was found as a stray off Brentwood Dr. in Heath on 09/12/26 and, after never being reclaimed, is now hoping someone will give her the fresh start she deserves. Daisy is a young girl with plenty of life ahead of her and is looking for a family ready to provide love, consistency, and companionship. We are currently unsure how she would do with cats or small children. 10/3 - 💕 MEET KIRA! 💕 Kira’s story hasn’t been an easy one, but this sweet girl is ready for a fresh start! Kira is an approximately 7-month-old Kelpie/Basenji mix weighing about 36 pounds. She was found as a stray in Rockwall on 08/12/26 and sadly was never reclaimed. Kira can be shy when first meeting new people, but underneath that uncertainty is a very sweet girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She is looking for an experienced, patient dog owner who can provide the structure, positive reinforcement, and consistency she needs to build her confidence. Continued leash training will also be important as she continues learning and growing. 🐾 Kira has not yet been tested with other dogs and is not recommended for homes with children under 16. A meet and greet is recommended if you have another dog in the home. 🐾 Adoption fee: $125 🐾 Spayed & microchipped 🐾 Current on rabies & boosters to date 🐾 Heartworm negative Kira may need a little more patience than some, but she deserves the opportunity to learn what it means to feel safe, loved, and finally at home. ❤️

He is social, outgoing, and always ready to meet someone new. Whether he's soaking up attention, heading out for an adventure, or simply making everyone around him smile, Meatloaf brings plenty of personality wherever he goes! Meatloaf does well with female dogs but is not compatible with male dogs or cats.
