Rowlett Animal Shelter
Our Mission
Rowlett Animal Services is dedicated to promoting animal safety through responsible pet ownership education and the compassionate care of homeless animals in our community. We believe every animal deserves a chance at a loving, permanent home.
Serving Our Community
Since our founding, we have served the Rowlett area by providing essential resources for pet owners, including low-cost vaccination and sterilization programs. We are proud to partner with the Friends of Rescue Animals to champion the welfare of our four-legged friends, from providing oxygen masks for our city fire trucks to fundraising for vital medical supplies.
How We Care
Our shelter provides a temporary, safe harbor for lost and stray animals found within the city limits of Rowlett. While in our care, our dedicated staff and volunteers focus on the health, socialization, and comfort of each guest as they wait for their families to return or for a new companion to find them.
Building Lifelong Friendships
Adoption is a joyful journey, and our goal is to match you with a companion who fits your lifestyle perfectly. By choosing to adopt through our program, you are directly contributing to the well-being of the shelter and helping us provide life-saving services to animals in need of a second chance.
