San Antonio Pets Alive!
Our Mission
San Antonio Pets Alive! is dedicated to providing the vital programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to a lack of space, foster, or adopters. We work tirelessly to give every cat and dog a second chance at a loving life.
Our History and Purpose
Founded in 2011 to address alarming euthanasia rates in our community, we serve as a critical safety net for the most vulnerable animals. We are proud to have saved over 80,000 lives since our inception, helping to transform San Antonio into a community that values every pet.
How We Save Lives
We operate as a high-volume rescue, providing care for pets who are often overlooked or at risk of euthanasia. Our life-saving work is powered by a dedicated team and an incredible foster network that provides temporary homes, as well as our medical and transport programs that prepare animals for their journey to forever families.
Your Role in Our Journey
When you adopt from us, you aren't just finding a companion; you are directly opening up space for another pet in need. We are committed to excellence and transparency, ensuring that every adoption is a thoughtful partnership that sets both the pet and the family up for a lifetime of happiness.
Join Us Today
We invite you to browse our available dogs and cats and discover your new best friend. Visit our adoption centers or explore our website to start your journey—together, we can ensure that every animal has the chance to find the home they deserve.
