Sherman Animal Services
A Heart for Our Community Animals
At the Sherman Animal Shelter, we are dedicated to providing safety and well-being for the animals in our care while actively promoting responsible pet ownership. Our mission is to partner with our community to ensure every animal we encounter has the opportunity for a safe and happy life.
Our Commitment to Care
We believe that every animal deserves love and enrichment while awaiting their forever home. Our facility at 1800 E. Ida Road serves as a hub where our friendly staff and devoted volunteers work together to provide socialization, exercise, and care for dogs and cats.
How We Operate
As a city-supported organization, we take pride in our professional approach to animal welfare. Our dedicated Animal Services Officers are available seven days a week to handle rescues and facilitate adoptions, ensuring our animals are healthy and ready for their next chapter.
Your Partner in Adoption
Adoption is the start of a beautiful friendship, and we are here to help you find the perfect addition to your family. Our adoption process includes spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and microchipping, so you can focus on building a bond with your new best friend. Our team is always here to assist you in finding a match that fits your lifestyle perfectly.
