At Pearl’s Place, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing a loving sanctuary for dogs in need, ensuring every animal receives the care, rehabilitation, and second chance they deserve.
Our Story
Named in honor of Pearl, a yellow lab rescued just one day before she was scheduled for euthanasia, our organization was born from a lifelong passion for animal welfare. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we transformed our grooming business's empty boarding kennels into a dedicated nonprofit space to serve senior and special needs dogs.
How We Care
We provide a sanctuary where dogs can recover and heal in a comfortable, temperature-controlled environment. With the expertise of a qualified pet aesthetician, we address complex skin conditions using innovative techniques like hydro-massage ozone baths and high-quality therapies to ensure every dog thrives. Every resident in our care receives comprehensive medical attention, including vaccinations and spay/neuter services, to ensure they are healthy and ready for their next chapter.

Pearl’s Place is a well known and dedicated animal rescue in Bell County and they are facing mounting challenges. One is that the city of Temple is forcing them to relocate as their property has been taken via eminent domain and they are having to close intake for the first time in years.
