City of Terrell Animal Control
Connecting Hearts and Paws
The Terrell Animal Adoption Center is dedicated to serving our community by providing a safe, welcoming environment for animals in need. We believe in strengthening the bond between pets and their families through compassionate care and responsible stewardship.
Our Commitment to Terrell
Located in the heart of Kaufman County, our center plays a vital role in local animal welfare. We serve as a community resource for pet registration, vaccination, and support, helping to ensure that every dog and cat in our care has the best possible start toward finding a loving home.
How We Care
Our facility, located at 2601 E US Highway 80, is operated by the City of Terrell to serve local residents. We focus on animal safety and population management, working diligently to reunite lost pets with their owners and preparing our shelter animals for their next chapter. Our team is committed to maintaining a clean, professional environment for the animals currently under our protection.
Your Partner in Adoption
Adoption is a joyful journey, and we are here to help you find the perfect companion to join your family. By registering and vaccinating our community pets, we work together to keep every animal healthy and accounted for. Choosing to adopt means you are participating in a meaningful community effort to provide second chances to deserving animals.
