Universal City Animal Care & Control
Our Mission
Universal City Animal Care & Control is dedicated to serving our community and its animals with professional, compassionate care. We strive to provide a safe, supportive environment for pets while enforcing city ordinances and state laws to ensure the welfare of all animals in our care.
Our Commitment to Community
We believe in the power of partnership to create a brighter future for our local animals. By working alongside programs like Homes for the Homeless, we promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for the importance of spaying and neutering to help manage the pet population humanely.
How We Help
As part of the City’s Public Works department, our facility serves as a vital resource for domestic animals and wildlife alike. Last year alone, our dedicated team helped 170 animals find their fur-ever homes while responding to over 1,500 service calls. We are committed to transparency and excellence in every aspect of the care we provide at our facility on Athenian.
Find Your New Best Friend
Adoption is a joyful journey, and we take pride in matching pets with the perfect forever family. Our Pet Adoption Counselors are here to guide you through the process, ensuring that every placement is a lasting, happy partnership. We celebrate every adoption as a success story for both the pet and the new owner.
