Fuzzy Friends Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing shelter, food, medical treatment, and love to abandoned and unwanted animals. We believe every living creature is entitled to a quality life filled with respect and compassion.
Our journey began in 1990 when a simple visit to a local shelter revealed the urgent need for a better path for homeless animals. Founded in 1997 by Betsy Robinson, Fuzzy Friends Rescue has since saved over 21,000 lives by offering a sanctuary where every animal is valued and every story matters.
We operate as a no-kill rescue, caring for all the animals we take in until they find their forever families. Whether an animal stays for a few days or for over a year, they receive dedicated rehabilitation, medical care, and personal attention in a life-care environment. We never euthanize an animal simply to make room for others, as we are committed to their well-being throughout their journey to adoption.
We believe in placing the right animal in the right home to ensure a lifetime of happiness for both you and your new companion. Our trained staff is here to help you navigate this transition, offering personalized guidance and opportunities to bond with our residents in our 'Get Acquainted Rooms.' We encourage the whole family to visit us so we can help you find the perfect fur baby to complete your home.
