Welcome to Nuzzles & Co. Adoption Center, a passionate nonprofit organization dedicated to helping pets and their people through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption initiatives. Established in Summit County, Utah, we are proud to operate as a 501(c)(3) no-kill organization, bringing together a community of volunteers and animal lovers since 1990. Our mission is clear: to protect animals and provide a nurturing space where they can heal, learn, and thrive before finding their forever homes. We believe that love conquers all, and every animal deserves a second chance. That's why we focus not only on finding homes for dogs and cats but also on educating our community about the humane treatment of animals. At Nuzzles & Co., we redefine the rescue process through compassionate care. Each week we save adoptable pets from overcrowded shelters, often those who are at risk of euthanasia. Our veterinary team ensures that every animal receives a thorough medical evaluation, vaccinations, and necessary treatments. Additionally, our cats and dogs are provided with behavioral assessments, socialization programs, and training to prepare them for successful adoptions. With over 27,000 animals rescued to date, we focus on saving those often overlooked: puppies, seniors, special-needs pets, and injured animals. We not only care for their physical needs but also aim to heal them emotionally, offering a loving environment that fosters recovery and happiness. We also work to address animal homelessness in our community through low-cost spay/neuter services and support for families in need, such as affordable veterinary care and pet food pantries.
