Welcome to Franklin County Animal Rescue (FCAR), where we are dedicated to building a more humane community since 1964. Our mission is to promote the health, welfare, and humane treatment of animals in Northwestern Vermont. We provide temporary shelter for animals in need with the ultimate goal of matching them with loving, permanent homes. At FCAR, we believe that finding a perfect pet match should be a joyful experience. That's why we offer an online adoption questionnaire to streamline the process and focus more on making that first connection with your new best friend, rather than on lengthy paperwork.
