Welcome to Franklin County Animal Rescue (FCAR), where we are dedicated to building a more humane community since 1964. Our mission is to promote the health, welfare, and humane treatment of animals in Northwestern Vermont. We provide temporary shelter for animals in need with the ultimate goal of matching them with loving, permanent homes.
At FCAR, we believe that finding a perfect pet match should be a joyful experience. That's why we offer an online adoption questionnaire to streamline the process and focus more on making that first connection with your new best friend, rather than on lengthy paperwork. Our commitment to making the adoption process smooth reflects our values of compassion and community support.
If you're interested in adopting, you can easily inquire about any animal or send in your application to schedule an adoption meeting. We're here to help every step of the way. Our dedicated team is passionate about animal welfare and is always on the lookout for loving homes for our furry friends.
Whether you're looking to adopt, volunteer, or support through donations, every contribution helps us fulfill our mission. Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and the community. Together, we can create a brighter future for pets in need.
