Pets Bring Joy
Bringing Joy Through Rescue
Pets Bring Joy is dedicated to bringing happiness to people and animals through rescue, adoption, and vital community services. We believe that everyone in our community deserves the opportunity to experience the unique joy of animal companionship.
Our Mission of Compassion
Since our founding, we have helped over 4,569 animals find their forever homes across Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. We are committed to supporting our community by assisting with cat colonies, providing essential resources to pet owners, and guiding good Samaritans in helping animals in need.
A Foster-Based Approach
PBJ operates as a foster-home based rescue, ensuring our animals are happiest and healthiest in loving home settings rather than traditional shelters. This model allows our cats and kittens to receive personalized care and social interaction while they wait for their perfect match.
Finding Your Purrfect Match
We believe adoption is a joyful partnership, and our process is designed to ensure a lasting connection. Once your application is approved, one of our dedicated adoption counselors will work closely with you to find a companion that fits your life. You will have the opportunity to meet our wonderful cats in their foster homes or at our adoption venues in Fairfax, VA, and Washington, DC.
