Welcome to the Spotsylvania Animal Shelter! Nestled in the heart of Fredericksburg, Virginia, our shelter is committed to providing a safe haven for animals in need. Our doors are open to the public from Tuesday through Saturday, where potential adopters can meet our furry residents between noon and 4:30 p.m. and finalize adoptions until 4 p.m. We believe that every pet deserves a second chance and our dedicated team works diligently to ensure each animal receives the care, love, and attention they deserve. At the Spotsylvania Animal Shelter, we understand the importance of community knowledge regarding animal welfare. Our Animal Control services are integral in addressing local issues, including stray animals, suspected cases of cruelty, and the enforcement of Virginia State Laws.
