The Humane Society of Warren County is dedicated to providing compassionate care to abandoned, abused, homeless, and neglected animals while working toward a future where every pet is a wanted pet.
Our Story and Community
Established in 1947, we have served as a safe haven for animals in Front Royal, Virginia, for over 70 years. Our commitment to animal welfare drives us to educate our neighbors on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of vaccinations and population control.
Providing Compassionate Care
Since achieving no-kill status in 2012, we have focused on maintaining an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for both our animals and our visitors. Our dedicated team of employees, volunteers, and fosters provides comprehensive care, supported by community-minded initiatives like our free pet food bank and low-cost spay/neuter programs.
