10/16 - Seagram is the sweetest most gentle boy! He came in as a stray at the beginning of this month with a wound on his head. We took him in with open arms, cleaned him up and helped his wound feel better. We don’t know what caused the wound, but he is looking and feeling alot better now than he was! He gets along great with kids and adults alike! He walks well on a leash and is really laid back! As you can tell, he likes to roll in the grass as well! He is probably one of the most laid back dogs we have at the moment! He is always smiling and will absolutely just sit there when you go see him in the kennel. He knows how to sit and lay down. He is a 2 year old terrier mix, weighing around 62 lbs.

10/15 - Buddy bear is the 3rd longest resident behind Copper and Bud. He has been here very close to a month. He is the absolute best and most gentle boy! He just wants to be with you 24/7. He is very loving! He knows how to sit and we are pretty sure he may have been housebroken! 👀 There’s a lot to love about Buddy Bear! He gets along great with other dogs.. even when the other dog is bouncing off of his face and trying to share their toys only to take them away minutes later.. (we gotta love copper🤣) Buddy bear’s adoption fee has been sponsored, he’s already been neutered, chipped, and he’s up to date on all of his shots, so all he needs is a good loving home! He is a 4 year old mini lab mix, and honestly it shows he is the most loyal and sweet boy, like labs are known for! He was surrendered because he had too much energy? He is the calmest boy we know.. especially compared to others we know and love (Copper) We have took him to TWO events and he has done amazing at both of them! If not adopted before Saturday, he will be at Barktober fest because he is the most amazing boy! Come visit him today! The shelter is open 1-5pm today!

10/14 - Meet, Bud, the shelter’s longest resident! Bud has been here for right at a month. He was very shy when he first came in, but now he’s just ready for his furever home. He came in as an owner surrender, due to no fault of his own. He has done good with other dogs, we aren’t sure about cats. Now that he is out of his shell with us we are starting to see what a good boy he is. He likes to play and run around outside. He is a collie mix, with a lot of love to give someone once they break the ice with him. He is very sweet once he learns to trust you. He just needs a little reassurance is all. He is 4 years old and neutered. His adoption fee has been sponsored so come meet him!

10/11 - This is copper’s second time at the shelter due to no fault of his own, he is the best boy! He has a little bit of energy if you can’t tell, but he knows a ton of tricks and he’s easy to train with some treats! He loves plushy’s and rope toys, and we found out yesterday at the new River Trail State Park that he likes sticks! He would absolutely thrive in a home that has another dog as long as your dog is OK with him, jumping off of their face 🤣 He loves playing for hours and hours on end, we aren’t sure where all of his energy is stored. He honestly thinks he’s a 20lb lap dog. He loves face kisses and cuddles, he doesn’t realize his strength, he still thinks he’s a puppy which makes him even more adorable!
