Middleburg Humane Foundation

Our Mission

The Middleburg Humane Foundation is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need while promoting animal welfare through community outreach and humane education.

Our Story

What began in 1987 with our founder’s vision and a local ice cream parlor has grown into a 23-acre farm shelter in Marshall, Virginia. Since our official incorporation as a 501(c)3 non-profit in 1994, we have remained committed to providing a haven for animals large and small, from pocket pets to livestock.

How We Care

We operate a state-of-the-art facility featuring an in-house veterinary clinic, where our dedicated team and volunteers work tirelessly to provide a safe, nurturing environment for all our residents. Beyond our walls, we support the community through essential services like our Trap-Neuter-Return program and pet food assistance, ensuring animals have the care and resources they deserve.

Finding Your Perfect Match

We believe that every adoption is the start of a beautiful partnership. Our compassionate team works closely with you to understand your lifestyle and preferences, ensuring a thoughtful match that brings lasting happiness to both you and your new family member.

Join Our Mission

We invite you to start your journey to welcoming a new friend today by exploring our available pets online or visiting us at our Marshall shelter. Whether you choose to adopt, volunteer, or support our programs, you are helping us provide second chances to deserving animals in our community.
