Stafford County Animal Shelter
Our Commitment to Stafford County
Stafford County Animal Control is dedicated to serving our community by providing professional care and essential support for animals in need. We believe in building a safer, kinder environment for both our residents and their beloved pets.
Serving Our Community
Operated under the oversight of the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, our division is led by Captain Joseph Bice, a committed leader with extensive experience in public safety. Since our inception, we have served as a resource for the community, ensuring that animals receive the care and attention they deserve while awaiting their forever homes.
Care and Facility
Our shelter, located at 26 Frosty Lane, operates as a dedicated hub for animal welfare. Our team works hard to maintain a professional environment for all animals in our care, welcoming visitors during our set shelter hours to help facilitate successful transitions for our animals. We also provide vital resources, such as pet pre-registration, to ensure your animals remain safe in the event of local emergencies.
Building Lifelong Bonds
We believe that every adoption is the start of a wonderful, joyful partnership. Our team is focused on providing compassionate service to ensure that our animals find the perfect match, creating lasting connections between pets and their new families.
