Winchester Area SPCA - Winchester Area SPCA Admission Center
Our Mission
At the Winchester Area SPCA, we are dedicated to enriching lives and ending pet homelessness. We believe every animal deserves a loving, safe environment, and we work tirelessly to make that dream a reality.
Our History and Community Commitment
Founded in 1907, we have been advocating for animals for over 100 years. What began as a small group of concerned citizens has grown into a robust organization serving Winchester, Frederick, and Clarke Counties, dedicated to ensuring our community’s animals receive the support they need to thrive.
How We Help
We operate as a no-kill facility, utilizing a specialized campus structure to ensure every animal receives the highest standard of care. Our Rockaplenty Adoption & Education Center provides a dedicated home for adoptable pets, while our nearby Admissions Center focuses on rehabilitation and support. With our on-site veterinary clinic and dedicated foster programs, we provide the medical and behavioral care necessary to prepare our animals for their next chapter.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Adoption is the start of a joyful, lifelong partnership. Our team works hard to understand the history and personality of each animal in our care, ensuring we help you find a companion that is the perfect fit for your family. We are here to support you through every step of the process, from meeting your new best friend to providing resources for a successful transition home.
