Welcome to Purrfect Pals, where we believe that every cat matters! As a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our mission is to end cat homelessness in the Puget Sound region by providing sanctuary and support for those who need it most. Founded in 1988, Purrfect Pals was established by cat lover Kathy Centala, who envisioned a world where no cat would be euthanized due to overcrowding in shelters. Today, we continue to uphold that vision, prioritizing senior cats, those with medical needs, and cats facing behavioral challenges.
At Purrfect Pals, we take pride in our commitment to rehabilitation and adoption. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to place homeless cats in loving homes, as we believe that every cat is adoptable. Some may require more time and patience to find their perfect match, and for those in need, we offer skilled foster families who provide a nurturing environment while awaiting adoption. Our sanctuary currently provides care for over 100 special cats, ensuring they feel safe and loved indefinitely.
We understand that preventing cat homelessness is just as critical as finding homes. That's why we support low-income cat owners in our community with resources like free spay and neuter vouchers and a community pet food bank, helping families keep their pets during times of financial hardship. Additionally, we offer support for behavioral challenges to help keep cats in their forever homes.
Purrfect Pals is not just about rescuing cats; it's about building a community that values every feline companion. Through our extensive adoption programs, volunteer opportunities, and community events, we aim to create a supportive network for both cats and their human counterparts. Whether you're thinking about adopting a new best friend, volunteering your time, or contributing to our mission, you're joining a community that truly cares.
Join us in our journey to ensure that every cat gets the chance they deserve. Together, we can make a difference, one purr at a time! Explore our resources, discover how you can help, and follow our Purrfect Pals on social media to stay updated on our work and the kitties in our care.
