Welcome to the Humane Society of Skagit Valley (HSSV), a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of all animals. Established in 1974, we serve as a safe haven for abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals in Skagit County, providing them with the care and shelter they deserve during their time of need. Our mission is driven by a commitment to treat all animals with dignity and respect, ensuring they find loving homes. We believe in the inherent value of every life and actively work to educate our community on the importance of humane treatment, responsible pet ownership, and spay/neuter options. Through our various programs and public outreach, we aim to foster a community that truly cares for and supports its animal companions.
