Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to inspiring the public to support the humane treatment of animals and transforming the lives of companion animals in need. We strive to improve the quality of life for both pets and people by providing essential shelter, rescue, and community services.
Founded in 2002 as the Colville Pet Refuge, we serve the rural communities of Stevens County, Washington. Because there are no municipal shelters in our area that serve both cats and dogs, we provide a vital safe harbor for animals across thousands of square miles.
Our organization is powered 100% by donations and the dedication of our volunteers. We operate a facility at 501 Old Arden Highway while also relying on a wonderful network of foster families to care for animals in unique circumstances. We are proud to provide comprehensive care including spay/neuter services, vaccinations, microchipping, and rescue for animals who have been left to fend for themselves.
Every animal deserves to find their perfect match, and we take pride in facilitating joyful partnerships between families and their new companions. Our adoption process ensures that each pet is examined, vaccinated, and ready to become a beloved member of your home. We love bringing fur babies and families together for a lifetime of happiness.
Whether you are looking to adopt a new family member, volunteer your time, or support our life-saving work, there are many ways to get involved. We invite you to visit our website to view our currently adoptable pets or contact us to schedule an appointment. Together, we can ensure every animal in our community lives a healthy and happy life.
