North Beach PAWS
Our Mission to Save Them All
North Beach PAWS is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless and unwanted dogs and cats by providing nurturing shelter and foster care. We are committed to securing permanent, loving homes for every animal that comes into our care.
A Legacy of Compassion
Founded by Lorna and Mike Valdez, North Beach PAWS began as a community-driven effort to make a difference for animals in need. We are proud to be a no-kill shelter, focusing our efforts on saving healthy, treatable, and rehabilitatable animals. By promoting spay and neuter initiatives and educating our neighbors, we work to reduce overpopulation and ensure every pet has a bright future.
How We Care
Our organization relies on a blend of dedicated foster homes and our shelter facilities to provide a safe haven for our furry friends. We are currently enhancing our capacity with a new, modern dog shelter featuring 20 kennels, dedicated isolation facilities, and a large play yard for exercise. Our compassionate board and volunteers work tirelessly to provide medical care, socialization, and the love every animal deserves while they wait for their forever families.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
We believe that adoption is the best way to add a new member to your family, turning lives around one animal at a time. Whether you are looking to welcome a young pet or a senior companion, our team is here to help you find the perfect match. We invite you to browse our available animals and see how rewarding it is to provide a second chance to a deserving pet.
