Our Mission
Partners for Pets is dedicated to eliminating the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets in Spokane County. We strive to provide every cat with a loving, permanent home through collaboration and compassionate care.
A Legacy of Compassion
What began in 1996 as a small group of individuals driven by a shared passion for animals has grown into a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Over the last 29 years, we have helped thousands of cats find the second chances they deserve.
Our Volunteer-Powered Model
We are a 100% volunteer-run organization with zero paid staff. Our dedicated team manages every aspect of our work, from fostering cats in homes to providing high-quality care at our unique, open-room Adoption Center and our satellite location at PetSmart in Spokane Valley.
Building Lifelong Bonds
We believe in the power of a perfect match and are committed to supporting our adopters long after the adoption is finalized. Our lifetime commitment means that if a placement doesn't work out for any reason, we are here to welcome our rescues back into our care.
