Julia's Jungle was founded by Dr. Julia Leese as part of her commitment to animal welfare and professional veterinary care. Established in 2003 as an expansion of her clinic, the shelter was created to help animals in jeopardy of euthanasia, offering them a safe haven in the heart of Spokane.

We operate with a strict no-kill policy, meaning every resident stays with us as long as necessary until they are adopted. Our residents receive comprehensive support, including spay or neuter services, up-to-date vaccinations, microchipping, and necessary medical care, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their new beginnings.
