Our Mission
Greyhound Pets, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for retired racing greyhounds throughout the Pacific Northwest. We are passionate about giving these incredible athletes a wonderful life after their racing careers conclude.
Our Story
Since our founding, we have served as a dedicated resource for greyhounds across Washington, British Columbia, and Northern Idaho. Our community-driven efforts focus on ensuring that these gentle dogs receive the care, compassion, and transition support they need to thrive in their new lives.
How We Help
We operate with a deep commitment to the welfare of every dog in our care, utilizing a kennel facility in Woodinville and a network of volunteers to provide a soft place to land. Our team is focused on providing essential medical support and comfort, including initiatives like our Heartship Medical Fund and providing Kuranda ShelterBeds to reduce stress and improve quality of life. We believe in transparency and professional care, ensuring each greyhound is ready for the next step in their journey.
