Wags To Riches Animal Rescue and Sanctuary
Our Mission
At Wags to Riches Animal Rescue, our mission is to provide a safe, caring refuge for animals and to ensure quality adoptive homes. We are passionate about advocating for animal welfare through compassion, education, and creative solutions to strengthen the human-animal bond.
Serving Central Washington
Established in 2008 and run entirely by volunteers, we serve the Yakima Valley and surrounding areas with a focus on the welfare of homeless animals. Whether they are stray, abandoned, or surrendered, we are here to provide the care and support every animal deserves while they await their forever families.
Our Commitment to Care
We believe in the power of a safe, home-like environment. Most of our rescued animals thrive in loving foster homes, where they receive personalized care, nutrition, and socialization. This foster-based approach allows us to provide each animal with the love and individual attention they need to prepare for their new lives.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Our adoption process is designed with the welfare of both the animal and your family in mind. We take great care to match each animal with the right environment based on their unique background, temperament, and needs. Our goal is to create joyful, lifelong partnerships that change lives for the better.
