The Humane Society of Morgan County is dedicated to providing comfort, care, and shelter to the lost, homeless, and unwanted cats and dogs in our community. We strive to create a brighter future for every animal that walks through our doors.

Since our incorporation in 1978, we have been a pillar of support for animals in Morgan County and the surrounding areas. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters, as we receive no state or federal funding to sustain our vital work.
A Dedicated Care Model
We operate as a volunteer-run, no-kill shelter where every animal receives dedicated medical attention, including spay/neuter services, essential vaccinations, and FIV/FeLV testing for our cats. Our compassionate team of staff and volunteers works tirelessly to ensure that every resident enjoys daily care, play, and socialization while awaiting their forever homes.
