Founded in 1958, the Randolph County Humane Society is committed to providing a safe haven for abandoned, abused, neglected, and homeless animals. We believe every dog, cat, and critter deserves a second chance at a life filled with love.

For more than 65 years, we have served as a dedicated resource for animals in Randolph County and beyond. As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, our work is only possible thanks to the generous support of our community, local municipalities, and dedicated volunteers.

At our facility in Elkins, we provide a welcoming environment where animals can wait for their forever families. We are proud of our high adoption rates and work hard to ensure that pets are healthy and well-cared for during their stay. Beyond our local shelter, we operate a successful transport program to help our dogs reach areas where the demand for adoptable pets is high, further reducing the risk of overcrowding.
