Our founding members, including Mabel B. Venable and Forrest A. Brown, set forth a mission of compassion that remains at the core of our organization today. Our mission is to provide housing and adoption services for abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and cats, and to educate our community on responsible pet care. We believe every animal deserves a loving home and strive to promote kindness and respect for all living beings through our various programs and community initiatives. As a proud no-kill shelter, we ensure that every pet in our care is treated with compassion and receives all necessary medical attention prior to adoption.
