As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we proudly operate a no-kill shelter in Oak Hill, WV, ensuring that every animal in our care is treated with dignity, respect, and kindness. Our mission is to create a safe haven for homeless and neglected animals, and we work tirelessly to promote responsible pet ownership through spay and neuter programs, aimed at controlling the pet population and reducing homelessness. At New River Animal Rescue, we believe that every animal deserves a loving home. We provide comprehensive adoption services that include age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and spay/neuter procedures. If a pet is too young to be altered at the time of adoption, we ensure a smooth process through vouchers for future procedures at participating veterinary clinics.
