Little Victories Animal Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless, injured, abused, and abandoned animals, providing the rehabilitation they need to find permanent, loving homes. We believe every animal is an individual deserving of a safe, protected life, and we strive to ensure that every life we save is a celebrated victory.
Founded in 2003 by the late Sue Brown, Little Victories was inspired by the loving memory of her cocker spaniels, Chloe and Biscuit. Since acquiring our 115-acre sanctuary in 2007, we have remained committed to a no-kill philosophy, focusing on humane education and community outreach to address the root causes of animal homelessness.
As a donor-funded, private rescue, we operate a dedicated facility in Ona, West Virginia, where we care for up to 90 animals at a time. We prioritize socialization and individual attention, ensuring each dog and cat is spayed or neutered and receives necessary veterinary care before finding their forever family.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and our team is committed to making it a success through thoughtful, supportive matching. With deep knowledge of each animal's personality, quirks, and needs, our staff helps you find the companion that best fits your lifestyle and goals.
Whether you are ready to adopt, volunteer, or simply learn more, we invite you to visit our galleries of adoptable pets or join us at our upcoming community events. We are open for walk-ins Thursday through Sunday, or by appointment Monday through Wednesday, and we look forward to meeting you.
