Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a permanent, loving sanctuary for homeless, injured, abused, and abandoned animals. We are dedicated to spreading the no-kill philosophy and educating our community about the humane care and respect that every living thing deserves.
Little Victories began in 2003, inspired by the deep love our founder, Sue Brown, held for her own animals. After rescuing a stray in need, she recognized the urgent need for a dedicated, compassionate rescue in our area and transformed that passion into a lifelong commitment to saving thousands of vulnerable lives.
Located on 115 acres in Ona, West Virginia, our facilities provide a safe haven where every animal is treated as an individual. We combine professional care with a donor-funded, no-kill approach, ensuring our residents have the safety and comfort they need for as long as it takes to find their perfect home.
Finding a successful, permanent match is at the heart of what we do. Our knowledgeable staff spends countless hours learning the unique personality and behavioral needs of every dog and cat, ensuring that when you find your new family member, it is a connection built to last a lifetime.
We invite you to experience the warmth of our sanctuary firsthand by visiting our adoptable pets or joining our community of supporters. Whether you choose to adopt, volunteer your time, or contribute to our lifesaving work, every action helps us give these deserving animals the second chance they dream of.
