Tucker County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
At Tucker County Animal Shelter, we are proud to provide a safe haven for animals in need while working tirelessly to find them their forever homes. We are committed to maintaining a no-kill status, ensuring that healthy and treatable animals receive the care and respect they deserve.
Serving Our Community
Our shelter serves as a vital resource for Tucker County, funded through the dedicated support of our community, dog licenses, and essential fees. By focusing on local animals, we honor our commitment to the taxpayers who help make our mission possible every single day.
Providing Compassionate Care
We operate a facility in Parsons where our team prioritizes the well-being of every resident. Whether we are providing daily exercise, offering enrichment activities, or managing intake, our goal is to keep our animals comfortable and healthy while they wait for you.
A Joyful Partnership
We believe that every adoption is the start of a beautiful relationship. Our team works hard to get to know our animals, and once an application is approved, we facilitate meetings to ensure a perfect, lasting match. Seeing our pets head home to loving families is the most rewarding part of what we do.
