The Arnell Memorial Humane Society is dedicated to providing shelter, comfort, and care for stray, abandoned, and surrendered pets in Polk County, Wisconsin. We strive to foster the human/animal bond by promoting responsible pet guardianship and encouraging successful adoptions.
A Legacy of Compassion
Our organization was founded in 1995 by a group of passionate citizens and animal lovers. Named in honor of Roy Arnell, a local farmer known for his kindness toward animals, our facility stands as a testament to his legacy and his desire to provide protection for those in need. Today, we continue that commitment as a private, non-profit shelter serving our community.
Our Care Model
As the designated stray holding facility for Polk County, we provide a safe, nurturing environment for animals waiting for their forever homes. Our dedicated team, including our shelter manager and animal caregivers, works tirelessly to provide medical treatment, food, and comfort to every pet in our care.
