Owned and operated by Jackson County and the City of Black River Falls, our shelter serves as a vital community resource for companion animals in need. We are proud to partner with the Jackson County Humane Society, whose support and generosity help provide the necessary resources to sustain our operations and enhance the daily lives of our shelter residents.
Our Commitment to Care

Our team also works to address reports of inhumane treatment and actively encourages the community to spay or neuter their pets to help reduce overpopulation. ADAMS, Wis. (WKBT) -- 38 dogs were surrendered during an animal welfare check at a Jackson County residence on Monday, according to a release.
