Brown Paws Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs from high-kill shelters and difficult situations across the United States. We believe every dog deserves a second chance to experience love and security in a forever home.
Founded by Becky Brown, our rescue was born from a lifelong passion for protecting animals in danger. From childhood rescues to our current mission of advocating for those on euthanasia lists, we strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable dogs.
We are a 100% volunteer-run organization that operates without a physical facility. Instead, our dogs are cared for in loving foster homes throughout Central Wisconsin, where they receive food, training, and affection while awaiting their perfect match.
We believe in thoughtful, individualized placements rather than a first-come, first-served process. By working closely with our dedicated foster families, who know the unique personality of each dog best, we ensure every adoption creates a safe and successful transition for both the pet and your family.
Ready to meet your new companion? We invite you to browse our available pups on our website and submit an application to start the journey. Your support—whether through adoption, volunteering, or donation—directly helps us save more lives, one wagging tail at a time.
