Lucky 7 Dog Rescue
Our Mission
At Lucky 7 Dog Rescue, we are dedicated to building a compassionate and connected community where every pet has a chance to thrive. Our mission is to advocate for responsible pet ownership and foster the powerful, unconditional bond between people and their dogs.
Our Story
Founded in 2015 by Maddy Szymanski, our organization began with a single mission to save puppies in need. Since those early days, we have grown into a passionate team of volunteers united by a shared love for animals, committed to making a meaningful difference in our communities and beyond.
How We Help
Lucky 7 Dog Rescue is an entirely volunteer-run, foster-based organization located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. By working with foster homes, we provide a safe, supportive environment for dogs to adjust and grow while they wait for their forever families. We are proud to be a positive reinforcement training rescue, ensuring our dogs learn with kindness, patience, and encouragement.
A Thoughtful Approach to Adoption
We believe in creating lifelong matches between humans and their new companions. We take our time to get to know each dog’s unique personality and behavior so we can provide honest information to potential adopters. By involving the foster, the adopter, and the dog in the process, we ensure a positive, informed experience for everyone involved.
