Our Mission
Kindred Kitties is a non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to proactively addressing the plight of homeless cats in our community. We are an all-volunteer team passionate about finding loving, permanent homes for cats and kittens while advocating for responsible pet ownership.
Our Journey
Founded in 2000, we have spent over 25 years turning a heartfelt mission into a vital community resource. From our roots in the Kenosha area, we have grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, successfully rescuing and rehoming over 12,000 cats and kittens with the help of our dedicated volunteers and supporters.
How We Help
Our organization relies on a compassionate, foster-based model, meaning the majority of our adoptable cats reside in nurturing foster homes where they receive personalized care. While we do operate an Adoption Center for visitors, our primary focus is providing a safe, temporary environment for every cat until they find their perfect match.

Our team takes the time to get to know each cat’s unique personality, temperament, and needs to ensure we make a match that feels meant to be for both the animal and your family.
